Editorial Policy
The rules this site runs on, written down so you can hold us to them.
Independence#
No hotel, charter operator, restaurant or destination can pay to appear on this site, to appear higher in a list, or to have criticism removed.
We do not publish sponsored articles. We do not accept payment for links inside editorial copy. We do not send drafts to the businesses we write about for approval.
How we research#
Recommendations draw on direct experience of the Greek market, conversations with owners, managers and staff across the hospitality and property industries, published guest feedback at scale, and primary sources such as operator licensing, planning and tax information where relevant.
Where we have not stayed somewhere ourselves, we say what the recommendation is based on rather than implying first-hand experience we do not have.
Prices and facts#
Rates in Greek luxury hospitality move enormously by month, by year and by how far ahead you book. For that reason we generally describe rate bands and relative positioning rather than quoting nightly figures that would be wrong within weeks. Where we give a number, it is identified as indicative.
Laws, taxes and residency thresholds change. Anything legal or fiscal on this site is written as background, is marked as needing professional verification, and is not advice.
Artificial intelligence#
AI tools are used in production of this site for research assistance, drafting and code. Every published claim is reviewed by a human with direct knowledge of the Greek market before it goes live, and the editorial judgements - what to recommend, what to warn about, what to leave out - are human ones.
We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated text.
Updates and corrections#
Guides carry a visible "updated" date and are revised when something material changes. Corrections are made promptly, and substantive ones are noted rather than quietly edited.
If you find an error: hello@greeceluxtraveler.com.
Our commercial relationships#
Set out in full in the affiliate disclosure. In short: partner links earn us a commission at no cost to you, display advertising appears on some pages, and Greek Exclusive Properties is our sister company and is always labelled as such.
None of those relationships influence what is recommended or in what order.
